Durable Sheds & Cabins

Our sheds start with a solid, heavy-duty floor, essential for the building's structural integrity. We use 4x6 pressure-treated skids notched to a depth of 1" to support the floor joists, creating a robust base for the LP ProStruct flooring. The siding and floors are made of engineered strand board, treated with zinc borate to resist bugs and decay, and coated with waxes for moisture resistance. Resins, or gorilla glue, add impact resistance and bonding during compression to create a product that surpasses traditional OSB in strength and durability.

The floors are also overlaid with a water-resistant material, providing a durable surface that can be covered with carpet or vinyl if desired, though it's unnecessary for longevity. Our warranties reflect the quality of our products, offering comprehensive coverage on flooring, siding, and trim. The 1/10 flooring warranty covers all material and labor costs for the first year against bugs, decay, or deterioration. For the following nine years, materials are covered on a pro-rated basis. The 5/50 siding and trim warranty offers similar coverage, with materials fully covered for the first five years and pro-rated for the subsequent 45 years.

Most of our buildings come with engineered drawings and are built to withstand winds up to 105 mph. With additional features like double-pane windows, reinforced doors and windows, and upgraded garage doors and tracks, our buildings can endure bursts of up to 150 mph. This level of resilience means our Derksen Portable Buildings often remain standing even after hurricanes. Our metal roofing is also designed to withstand hail, ensuring your shed remains intact and secure in adverse weather conditions.

You get to rent from us while you pay the equity, all in the same easy monthly payments. There's no penalty for early pay-off, so that's a great way to save money as well. And if life happens and you simply can't do payments anymore, there's no penalty or re-stocking fee to have the building picked up.

On-Site Builds

Are gates, trees or fences in the way? Not a problem! Shop-built is the most economical, but if that's not possible in your situation, we can build it on site for you!
